Friendliness of Staff: 6
The staff at Blissful is okay, nothing bad nothing great. The only comment to make here for this was that when we got there we were informed by the pro shop that since we were the first group off and if we played slow then we set the pace for the rest of the day. It was more of an attitude we received that was the issue. Other than a simple comment just before we tee'd off no other real negative feedback. If pace was a real issue for the course, then we should have perhaps seen rangers which we did not.

Facilities/Pro Shop: 7
The facilities at Blissful are very nice, they have a range, a large banquet hall, a great bar, smaller pro shop but has enough of the bare essentials you might need for a round. The bar and restaurant area is one that you can really kick back and enjoy your round. They have a full menu, and full bar, pretty much breakfast, lunch or dinner is something that you should definitely consider while visiting Blissful meadows.

Quality/Value of Food/Snacks: 8
You will see that for what you get the quality and value is very good. The one recommendation I will say is definitely get yourself a hot dog, value wise you can not go wrong with these, they are some of the biggest hotdogs and to top it all very good. You can not beat them for the buck! As for their other snacks, these to are fair in price so if a hotdog isn't what you are craving, I am sure you will find something else you like without breaking the bank.

Fairway Conditions: 8
You really won't find much better, the fairways are clean, manicured excellently, and green. There are some obvious divots and stuff but you can tell that they maintain the fairways very well. Between great fairways, fair but tough rough, and very nice tee's you really wont get a better course for the money in this category.

Greens Conditions: 8
The word that comes to mind for Blissful to describe these greens is perfect. These greens are quick and true but they do have a lot of undulations. You won't find too many flat putts here at Blissful but what you will agree is that these green even though they are fast, with lots of breaks, they are extremely fair. I will say this courses greens are some of the best in central mass at this time. I am sure when you play this course yourself, you will agree this is just another quality of Blissful Meadows that makes it as great of a course as it is.

Scenery: 8
This course has it all, the scenery and layout of the course is one you really will agree is very nice. They have a fair amount of elevation changes from tee to green, hole to hole. The use of the doglegs, and overall layout is one that is another fine asset of this course and gives this course such a high rating for the scenery, I am sure if you play you will agree, the scenery of this course is one you will really enjoy. They even have some history here too, more on that in the comments.

Difficulty of Course: 8
I will say this course is fairly difficult, and if you really want a challenge take it back to the blue tee's and I can promise you will get one. With most of the par 4's right at the 400-420 number from the Blue's the tee ball is one that must be hit well and accurate. This course is set up so that you will use everything in your bag, and you will have to play many placement shots otherwise you will post a big number. Even from the white tees this course if you do not hit the fairway you will have your hand's full, so use this course as one that will really test your skills and see just how you can do on a really wonderful track in central mass.

Value Received: 8
At 68 dollars with cart, I think you will find that for such a great course with typically perfect conditions, great fairways & greens, a wonder layout, you will find that the value received is one that is very good, no matter how you play, I think you will agree this is a trip definitely worth while.

Speed of Play/Design of Course: 7
The design of this course is one that rivals any other in central mass. This course will require both distance and accuracy. You will play every club, and if you are not care this course will give you all the challenge you want. It also does a great job at using changes in elevation to its advantage. Many elevated tee's or greens, and just a great layout. The only two slightly negative comments are that you really need to play this course a few times before you get the hang of this course because there are a few holes that you just can not quite tell exactly what they do from the tee.

19th Hole: 8
Again the facilities at Blissful are nice but the 19th hole is one that I especially like, it is just a great place with to hang out with your group and enjoy your round. As I mentioned in the facilities section, there is a full menu so a post round meal, and a few drinks are something that I would definitely recommend.

There is a beer cart on the course. +5

Comments:
Overall, this course is a must play, and one I think no matter how far you have to go, you will certainly enjoy. The layout, difficulty of course, and many of the other attributes make this course one that is a must play, especially if you like a good challenge. Also you will even get a bit of central Massachusetts history while you are there, as they have an old silver mine right on the course, so as you walk or ride by that silver mine on the 13th, take a look as I am sure it will catch your eye and curiosity as it did mine. Here is the link to the full story (http://www.blissfulmeadows.com/bmgcie/silvermine.htm). So if you appreciate the game of golf and a great course like we do at CCC, you will find Blissful Meadows a course that you will want to play as it will provide you a challenge and great experience that will rival most others in the area.
