Overall Rating: 54

Friendliness of Staff: 6
The woman in charge of the pro shop was beyond friendly. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The starter needs to learn a thing or two from her, as he is a bit of a grumpier older guy. He openly admitted that he's burnt out with people. Why have this guy as your starter? It's a 9 hole course so don't expect a ranger. You won't meet any other staff because they really don't have a lot of facilities.

Facilities/Pro Shop: 6
They really don't have any facilities other than a small pro shop and a mediocre putting green. This is a no frills course and being only 9 holes, you don't come here for the experience. There is no where to grab a bite to eat either. A quick round is all that you will come here for.

Quality/Value of Food/Snacks: 5
We really can't critique this category too much because all they really offer are drinks and snacks. They do offer coffee for the morning players. Our rating for this course will reflect the lack of a bar, grille or restaurant.

Fairway Conditions: 6
To start with, you only have 6 fairways on the course. This course has 6 par-4's and 3 par-3's. That's it, so their fairways are not that great. They are a little burnt in places, but at least they do have irrigation. They're a mixture of crab grass and others, so they do need some work, but they were not in terrible shape.

Greens Conditions: 6
They cut them longer which we presume to be due to the Cape summer heat, so they are green but furry and slow. The greens aren't well protected by shade either, so they have to compensate for the direct sunlight they receive all day. They are good for beginners to learn on.

Scenery: 4
There really is no scenery here. It is a very flat course, so there are no views of hills, ocean or water. You won't notice anything special and you probably won't remember this course.

Difficulty of Course: 4
This is a really short course with no par-5's so this is a very easy course. A 10 handicapper can easily par every hole. A couple of shots are tight, but that's about it. The toughest part was the par-3's. They are mostly longer at 160-180 yards and they can play at around 200 yards with the wind.

Value Received: 7
Well, it's only $20 for holes so it's great for a quick round if you're learning the game. You'll know what to expect when you come here...no frills golf.

Speed of Play/Design of Course: 5
The design is OK. Smartly, because quite a few beginners come here, they spread out the tee boxes so you don't fear getting hit. They utilized the small piece of land they have pretty well. As far as speed, it's self explanatory. Not only are there beginners, there are quite a few older golfers just enjoying the day. It took us about 3 hours to play 9 holes, which is pretty long. The tough part is you may come here for a quick round, but don't expect that to happen. This course will cater to certain demographics and level of players.

19th Hole: 2
Non-existent, they don't have one. They don't even serve alcohol. It's kind of boring, but like we said, you know what to expect coming here. Again, our rating will reflect the lack of some sort of bar or eating area. We'll call their snack bar area their 19th hole. They have couches and chairs, but that is about it.

There is no beer cart on the course.

Comments:
You may come here for one reason, a cheap and relatively quick round. It's average at best and they attract a certain crowd. If you're a beginner on the Cape, it's a great place to come, but not otherwise. You may want to look for other options.
