Ross Giombetti

Handicap: 7

Years Playing: 19

Hometown: Hampden, MA

Born and raised in the small town of Hampden, Ross is a die-hard native of Western Mass. He currently resides in the same town he was born, along with his beautiful wife Elizabeth, their two wonderful children Noelle and Ryan, and of course their chocolate lab Bailey. Ross has a very tight-knit family also living in Hampden as well as a younger sister Ashley, who resides in the Big Apple while pursuing a career in Marketing & Advertising with HBO. Ross would be the first to tell you, “Family is the most important thing in life!”

Ross spent his college days at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and attended the Eisenberg School of Management for 4 years. Ross could always be found at the Hangar Pub for some great beer and wings – but never when class was in session. Studying various subjects including International Business, Marketing and Organizational Behavior, his path would eventually cross with, who would become a good friend of his, Jason Randall. Ross then spent about 3 years working in Human Resources for a Theme Park company and then went on to help assist in the recruiting department for Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut for a couple years. After enjoying his career in the entertainment business, Ross decided it was time to pursue his love of leadership and joined the family business. Ross now helps companies build teams through hiring, training, and retaining the right people. In the past couple years Ross also went on to achieve his MBA and was also awarded certificate for successful completion of the Green Belt Six Sigma program.

Life, to Ross, means having friends and family you can trust and they trust you. He guards his integrity with the utmost care and does not surround himself with others that don’t. Ross is extremely passionate about 5 most important things in life: Fishing, Enjoying Life, Good Food, His Family and of course GOLF! Going forward Ross hopes to increase the awareness of he and Jason’s brainchild of years ago and begin playing courses all over the world. Ross and Jason also look forward to building their new business, www.thegolfersgiftcertificate.com. He also looks forward to seeing his kids grow and spending as much time with them as he can. Who knows how many children the future will bring?

In closing, I heard Ross once say, “Life is short, you must enjoy every day like it’s your last!” I’m sure he will, while trying to balance family and his love for leadership and spanking that little white thing all over the place.
